Michelle Gilliam has twenty-eight total years of total experience in all facets of the real estate sales and the construction industry with thirteen years directly selling real estate. Prior to forming Avery Gilliam Real Estate, LLC in 2002 on the Gulf Coast, Michelle worked in construction & real estate sales for 6 years in Tennessee as Design / Build contractor with Avery Gilliam Construction & Real Estate. Michelle managed the design-build projects including designing, estimating, marketing, sales, and the financing of each project ranging from $70,000 rehab units to $300,000+ new construction units. While working along side the Memphis Preservation Committee and Commission and Memphis Heritage. Studied architecture at The University of Memphis, Tulane's School of Architecture, and Mississippi State School of Architecture. In 2000, Michelle ended her business in Memphis and relocated to the Gulf Coast in order to pursue her continuation of her education in architecture and to live along the Gulf water. Michelle began her real estate sales career in real estate in 1997 and on the Gulf Coast in the fall of 2001. Michelle made her presence known as a preeminent real estate professional. Michelle has the experience & knowledge you need in a representative to manage your real estate transactions. In 2001, Avery Gilliam and Michelle were recognized as a residential award winning builder in a historical district in Memphis, Tennessee and once in Mississippi, she has been honored as a Top Producing REALTOR. In 2005 and following Hurricane Katrina, Michelle continued her education at Mississippi State University in International Business with an emphasis in Finance and Spanish language. Michelle is an experienced bank owned property marketing expert and manages multiple properties with a fully staffed team. She has been managing and selling REO properties since 2002.
